- Silly question, but what the heck is the point in giving us a bunch of 1 second MIDIs for Super Mario 3D Land?
- by dj4uk6cjm at 12:53 PM EDT on March 23, 2015
- That's actually the only download link and an old one at that I had of OoT3d with the SM3DL midis bundled together as another mirror for them a year ago when soneeks links were down. :P

- Nevermind...here are the oot midis I figured it out and I know why now.....all I have to say is I hate SEQ64 and I hate sauraen, why the hell would someone make a program and set the default window screen size of that program larger than that actual operating system screen size? That is pure bullshit! Goddammit it makes no sense!! Why would he do this?? Sigh...anyways I got the midi files and that's what counts lol and you gotta admit, the midi files are a hell of a lot better than the OoT3D midis thank god *rolls eyes* ugh.
For anyone having problems with loading the damn thing (as in rom) in windows 7, go to control panel; appearance and personalization, display and then use the magnifier tool when using the program. That should make things clearer.

- @dj4uk6cjm Nicely done! Especially love how all the CC parameters (pitch bend, reverb FX mix) work. Does this method work with Mario Kart 64?

- @dkbk64 I know bro they're awesome! :D and definitely better than anything the OoT3D midis had. Pitch bends work, notes aren't out of place in fact all of the notes for each midi are there! (Woo!) reverb, expression controls, modulation etc. it's all just perfect man and everything I had imagined it would be. The only problem really is that some of the drum samples are mapped differently I think but there may be a way to fix that easily as they're still in the right place, in the right order.
Haha guys we did it! We got near original perfect quality midi rips of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask finally!!!! It's a great week. :)
First thing I'm going to do with these bad boys is run them through ProteusVX and see what results I can achieve.

- I updated my soundfont (OoT) to play the Fire Temple theme correctly with all key maps and such. You still need to assign the correct patch numbers though as OoT/MM handles those really weirdly.
Grab it here.

- Since I don't think sauraen will ever release a soundfont for Majora's Mask (publically to say the least...) has anyone figured out how the Audiobank works in Majora's Mask and if there is a way to extract it or convert the samples to soundfont? Pic here of what I'm talking about.
Rubberfacefruit have you found a way? Please let me know if so.
