All of these have been xmas presents for the last 10 or so years.
A Close Encounter
I still have this cold, just before I begin this entry. Just so you know, all one of you.
Anyways...
Today at lunch I went downstairs to the cafeteria. The cafeteria is always full of complete and utter jerks, mostly people who have just arrived. Since the lineup was too long, I just grabbed a Nutrigrain (tm), gulped it down and exited stage left.
I passed the main hall, and all of a sudden:
"Hey! Hold on, I want to talk to you!"
I turned around to see a fairly attractive girl who was probably about my age. Since I wondered what the hell was going on, I decided to ask her about it.
Me: Why? What do you want?
Her: Nothing - I just want to talk to you! You look cool!
Then it struck me. This wasn't someone I knew. Also, I would be violating the Order of the Geek if I did stop to talk to her. So I used Avoidance Technique Number 1 then and there and put a stop to it.
Me: I'm sorry, I'm in a hurry. *dashes off*
But I'm starting to wonder - was that the right thing to do? I don't know about this since I've already set my sights on someone else. I probably did the right thing.
Sigh....
Anyways, USF fans! I'm working away at two games at the moment - Forsaken 64 and Puyo Puyo Sun. They're quite difficult but I'll eventually figure them out.

Also been trying to port/write an in_cube player for the GP2X but it's mocking me atm...

Today I went down to the cafeteria, and did the usual "Screw this, I ain't gonna wait in line" thing and snatched the Nutrigrain from the vending machine. I passed the main hallway and just sat there for a while. Thankfully, you-know-who didn't show up. I proceeded upstairs to the computer where I am writing this.
It's pretty odd that I got noticed yesterday - I am barely ever spoken to by student peers other than "Hello". I'm starting to wonder why I was noticed. So far, I can only assume she was drunk or I was dressing like so:

On the agenda for tonight: I'm gonna try porting hcs's ADX player over to the GameBoy Advance. He's ported it over to Rockbox and PokeParadox is attempting to port it over to the GamePark, so I might as well give porting a shot.
(On another note: The vending machine is busted. I inserted $1.50 (exact change) but it spat out 50 cents afterwards. Odd.)
