I just tested the tracks right now, as in im still playing them.

The split ones are currently dependant on the original sparses, rather than the usflib (although the originals are dependant on the usflib, so that makes i.e. btooie.usflib -> sparse41.miniusf -> sparse41b.miniusf

So you probally dont have the originals in the same directory then.

But this will all be fixed when completed.

I guess I will bump this for Josh. I had a little trouble finding it myself.

Bump Again! Josh, can I get an update on the status of Rush 2049? Have you made any progress? I know that you have been busy with other things lately, but it has been about 5 months since I last heard anything.

Thanks.

P.S. If Synthesis is still here, I have looked at the Harvest Moon 64 tags again. I think that I have identified some of the instrument tracks, but I need some verification. If Synthesis is reading this please post.

--EDIT--

Here is what I have so far for HM64. If a track is followed by a question mark, I am not sure if the tag is correct:

sparse00 - Intro
sparse01 - ???
sparse02 - ???
sparse03 - ???
sparse04 - Spring
sparse05 - Summer
sparse06 - Fall
sparse07 - Winter
sparse08 - ???
sparse09 - Flower Festival
sparse0a - *Something* - Spring?
sparse0b - *Something* - Summer?
sparse0c - *Something* - Fall?
sparse0d - *Something* - Winter?
sparse0e - ???
sparse0f - Mountain
sparse10 - Flower Bud Village
sparse11 - ???
sparse12 - Church?
sparse13 - Milk Bar
sparse14 - Wedding?
sparse15 - ???
sparse16 - Title Screen?
sparse17 - Music Box - Broken
sparse18 - Music Box
sparse19 - Instrument - Flute
sparse1a - Instrument - Organ
sparse1b - Instrument - Ocarina
sparse1c - Instrument - Bell
sparse1d - ???
sparse1e - Instrument - Choir?
sparse1f - Instrument - Orchestra
sparse20 - Ambiance - Rain?
sparse21 - Ambiance - Wind?
sparse22 - Ambiance - Hurricane?
sparse23 - Ambiance - Night 1?
sparse24 - Ambiance - Night 2?
sparse25 - Ambiance - Night 3?
sparse26 - ???
sparse27 - Ambiance - Waves 1?
sparse28 - Ambiance - Waves 2?
sparse29 - Same as sparse01?

This is about all I can offer without further help. Be mindful that there may be errors because I have never played this game before. If anyone can help, speak up.

Bump!
Heh, fun.

Rush 2049 is now done.

Busy with other things now...i think not...it is too damn hot to do anything, it was 106°F today.

AWESOME! Thanks Josh! I will see what I can do in the tagging/timing department. It may take me a little longer than it usually takes me to tag a set, but I will work on it when I can.

Thanks.

--EDIT--

I just found a list of games that use Musyx on the PJ64 website. (Link)

* 007 - The World is Not Enough
* Elmo's Letter Adventure
* Elmo's Number Journey
* Gauntlet Legends
* Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine
* NBA Showtime - NBA on NBC
* Polaris Sno Cross
* Resident Evil 2 / Bio Hazard 2
* Rugrats in Paris - The Movie
* San Francisco Rush 2049
* Star Wars - Rogue Squadron
* Star Wars Episode I - Battle for Naboo

Maybe this list should be posted on the FAQ page.

It is interesting that 1/4 of the Musyx soundtracks have been ripped.

I have the world is not enough tagged. There is one unused song and the paused music is missing.
00: Masquerade - Stealth
01: Masquerade - Unmasked!
02: Midnight Departure
03: Courier - Treason
04: Courier
05: King's Ransom
06: King's Ransom - Escape
07: Meltdown - Last Part
08: Underground Uprising
09: Meltdown - First Part
0A: Sinking Feeling
0B: Paused Menu?
0C: Main Theme
0D: City Of Walkways II
0E: The End
0F: Courier - Enter The Bank
10: Night Watch
11: Thames Chase

Also I still have not seen an update on the Conker's Bad Fur Day set. I tagged it(including all the annoying cutscene music) and also added the missing dynamic tracks and sent it in a rar a few months ago.

And where can i find the miniusfs(still experimental or finished, doesn't matter) of Banjo Tooie dynamic tracks. All I know is ugetab had them fixed and wrote all dynamic tracks in a text file, but no miniusfs
by marioman at 8:43 AM EST on January 18, 2007
Good job! Do you know how to add those tags to the set? (To complete it, you will need to time it too.) If you don't, I can give you a few pointers. Also, Josh could probably find the missing track for you. It is probably in there somewhere. (It could be a version difference too.)

Some Banjo-Tooie dynamic tracks can be found here. I am not sure if they are the ones that you are looking for, but here they are anyway.

--EDIT--

Here are the dynamic Banjo-Tooie tracks from ugetab.

Also, I just remembered that I had a MP3 rip of 007. The track in the rip that most closely resembles sparse0b is labeled "Options Menu". It sounds exactly like sparse0b, but it has fewer instruments. Maybe the options/pause music that is played in the game is only part of the actual music track.

Hey marioman,

Sorry it's taken me so long to post, I'll add what tags I can at the moment. I'll try to play the game sometime tomorrow to see if I find anything else.
by marioman at 9:00 AM EST on January 20, 2007
Hi Synthesis,

No problem about the delay. About my HM64 tags, what you see is what you get. Many of the tracks with question marks are guesses, and they probably wouldn't be of much use to anyone. However, since you have the game, hopefully they will help point you in the right direction.

For instance, I have a feeling that sparse12 is the music for the church. I cannot verify this in the least, but it sounds like it is the music that would MOST LIKELY be played in the church. Now, all you have to do is go to the church in the game and see that music is played. If so, then we have identified another track!

I hope that this is helpful to you in figuring out the tags. There are nine tracks that I just have no guess what they are, and four that sound like they are the same area at different seasons. (The tracks marked *Something*.) Also, the ambiance tracks seem right, but you might would like to verify them too - I am not very sure about them.

Thanks for your help.

I will sent the tagged Conker's Bad Fur Day(again) and tagged The World Is Not Enough this monday. They are on my computer in my students' room and now i'm at my parents.
I need to hook my N64 up to verify if you're right about that single music is the options music.
As for dynamic tracks for Banjo Tooie, if they are made in almost the same way like with Conker's Bad Fur Day(with a miniusf pointing to the miniusf playing all channels) i can fix it myself(just hex editing one value). I need to check that out. I know hex editing but not N64 machine code to make miniusfs myself from scratch.
