- GSFLIB generation is now functional. However, I can't compile on Mac OS X until I figure out how to include the zlib library in xcode.

- OK, it's pretty much done. There are some bugs with this, though:
- Since the goomba library is somewhat inaccurate, emulation of certain sets may suck.
- This currently leaves behind a bunch of temporary files which might be useless. In which case, feel free to delete them.
So far, I have only built this on Windows. A Mac OS X version might be coming soon, who knows...
source code
win32 binary
Also, ugetab says that there are some bugs with converting certain sets (Deja Vu), so he'll be making his own version. I will continue to maintain this one.

- Very nice UF. It seems that your sampling rate is a little low though. (As is my complaint with NEZPlug. ) Try converting Wario Land 3 and play track 20 - you will see what I mean. This may be the same thing that ugetab was referring to - I am not sure.

- Maybe your hearing is just too good, you mutant freak.

- I would suspect the opposite. I have almost been deafened while trying to use NEZPlug to listen to tracks that have that bell-like instrument in them.

- Yeah, apparently the sampling rate is a bit too high. I couldn't really tell the difference when I first invented the concept, as I was using NEZplug at the time.

- You can find an example of what it should sound like by downloading the Wario Land 2 soundtrack at Galbadia Hotel. There are a few tracks on WL2 that exhibit the same problem. (It is track 47 of the GBS archive, which corresponds to the MP3 here)
I also recommend getting the old version of in_gbs from Zophar.net to help you locate the problem. (The sampling rate on it is correct.)
Hope that this helps.
--EDIT--
Oh yeah, something else. I find it slightly annoying that the extension of the GBS file is added in the program. This makes it impossible to run the program by dragging GBS file onto a program shortcut.

- I figure this has to do with xSF... by unknownfile at 12:04 PM EST on November 1, 2006
- I'm setting up an NSF mirror over here. This only contains two sets (Tobidase Daisakusen (Great Plan Fly-Out/World Runner) and a fixed version of Contra Force) as of now, but I will be updating it as I go along.
The two sets came from here, so I hope he doesn't mind me mirroring the sets here.

- This is in regards to Meridian's GBS plugin, and site. I found the forums! I have Lunary to thank for that. He performed a Google search for "Mouser X over and out." Having used that for the last 8+ years, one of the results lead me here. So, Meridian is aware that the site is down, but doesn't have control over that problem, it seems.
Anyway, if there's anyone interested in finding Meridian related stuff, please spread the word/link, because I doubt it's widely known where it can be found.
Also, to add to the list of email addresses I had earlier, it seems that the list should include this:
cline at rollanet dot org
meridian at overclocked dot org
oneeyedbluemonkey at hotmail dot com
Perhaps someone wants to try these out? Mouser X over and out.
