- Okay, I have a good one for you guys, it don't have to be rushed, but I want an eventual rip of Planet Puzzle League, complete with the Title screen and Credit roll streams. It's the BEST version of Panel De Pon to date, and I'm DAMN proud to own it for my DS! :)
Not to mention the titles of the sequenced tracks are directly in the Sound Test, so it should be an easy tag. ;)

- The materials needed are out there. Go get them and do it yourself. It isn't that hard to do. etc.

- If you want epic PdP music, get Nintendo Puzzle Collection. I would say that is way better than Planet Puzzle League. Plus it has Yoshi's Cookie and Dr. Mario!
(I'm just typing this so the rips get done ;)

- HW progress is still being made. Stuff that still needs to be fixed:
- Fade algorithm (isn't exact, and causes static)
- Nothing else, really, just finish the GUI code
- Meteos by unknownfile at 11:04 AM EST on February 10, 2008
- I'm going to be working on Meteos later today, you have the following options:
1) Rip the streamed tracks into 2sf
2) Provide the streamed tracks for play in in_cube
- re: Meteos by JFD62780 at 2:49 PM EST on February 10, 2008
- I pick option 1: Rip 'em as .STRM's and include them with the sequenced tracks, because there are only three streamed tracks in the game I know of: the Main Theme heard in the select screen, the Fusion Room theme, and the soundtrack to the jawdropping CGI cutscene.
With only three streams, it shoudn't be that big a rip, should it? ;)

- Meteos uses ADX for at least 1 of the streams. It's already available in HCS's bonus folder. If it's using ADX for that (I think it's the title theme), I would think it's using ADX for all the streams (if there's more than 1). The problem with Meteos is that it has about 600 sequences or something. This is why it hasn't been ripped yet. Mouser X over and out.

- one ADX, four STRMs.
859 sequences.

- 0x202F328 - sequence sound select breakpoint, r0 = songvalue.
The stream player runs in a thread on the ARM9, which dispatches audio instructions to the ARM7, where they are written off to the SPU. Writes to the sound thread appear to be done through SendMessage, so time to sniff that stuff out.
0x2030948 - stream sound select breakpoint. r0 = songvalue.
This is with the Japanese version, for those who are keeping track. The code trace is now underway, 5 tracks will come out of it all.
The results
This will be combined with the sequence bank rip later on.

DAMMIT!!! I FORGOT THE THREE ENDING TRACKS! x.x
(Select + Fusion + aforementioned ending tracks = FIVE STREAMS (not counting the CGI-intro))
