- Okay, it's up:
Nintendo 64 Music Archive
Please let me know if it's missing any of the rips, as I wasn't paying attention to usf rips for a little while. If you spot some other errors, please do notify me as well. :)
Features:
* standard naming scheme used in all other music archives: US region game name [alt names] (YYYY-MM-DD)(developer)(publisher)
* usflibs renamed to match the rom serial
* untimed sets are marked with [ut] in the filename
* countless copyright tag fixes

- Is there a list somewhere of all the *.josh.info vgm archives you've got stocked? I feel confident I've missed a few, and if there's an index I don't know how to get to it...
Edit: oops, this would've fit better in the other thread, but... I read this one first.

- Knurek, looks like my Wetrix and Star Fox 64 edits didn't make it. I also finished timing Bangai-O and Sin and Punishment (great soundtracks.)
Bakuretsu Muteki Bangai-O (tagged & timed)
Sin and Punishment: Hoshi no Keishousha (tagged & timed)
Star Fox 64 (song specific credits)
Wetrix (tagged & timed)
I have Custom Robo and Custom Robo V2 tagged according to the OST, Custom Robo is timed but Custom Robo V2 is not. Also the song numbering is really whacked out, and I think there is one song missing in V2. It's too much of a mess for me to bother with but I'll upload them if anyone wants. Think that's all... I did also edit the Goemon sets to update the artist fields to "Goemon Production Team" rather than the typoed mess of composers that are currently in them, but that was only really for my own personal use. Will share them if they're wanted. I think the only other thing I did that didn't get propagated was miscellaneous edits to the usf page itself.

- Updated.
Yay on the Custom Robo sets, nay on the Goemon set (though typo corrections would be appreciated)
- by Lunar at 4:06 PM EST on November 20, 2012
- The typos were in Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon. Simplest way I can explain if you wanna fix it is that they are currently:
http://www.last.fm/music/Shigeru+Arabi,+Kato+Yusuke,+Saiko+Miki,+Yusumasa+Kitagawa
.. but should be
http://www.last.fm/music/Shigeru+Araki,+Yusuke+Kato,+Saiko+Miki,+Yasumasa+Kitagawa
I renamed all three sets to Goemon Production Team ~ those are the tags used on the official OSTs, and what most people seem to be using on last.fm. Of course it'd be different if there was track specific information about composers.
Anyway, here's the two Custom Robos. There's actually three songs missing: 2.20, 2.42 and 2.43 ¯\(°_o)/¯

- If I downloaded a [ut] set and then timed them (at least timed the ones I could) where should I send them to?
I don't know if anyone else has done it yet, but I timed 18 of the 19 tracks in Turok 2: Seeds of Evil.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to time 19 (Oblivion)? At the moment it's not timed at all.
Also, shouldn't the "info.txt" be updated? It still says:
"Turok 2: Seeds of Evil USF Rip
Ripped by Josh W. (5/25/08)
Tracks: 19
Size: 3.6Mb
Status: Preliminary Rip
64thNote Version to use: >= 1.2
Any problems or questions related to this set sould be posted at the
Halleys Comet Software Forums (http://hcs64.com/mboard/forum.php5) or emailed
to me at josh@joshw.info"
Is it still preliminary?

- Just upload it and link it in this thread, Knurek will propagate it to usf.joshw
Oblivion is tough. With songs like that, I'd just use my intuition, pick some arbitrary spot where it feels like it's repeated enough/lasted long enough. Then if people do want to listen to it indefinitely, they could edit the time themselves or turn off the time tags in their player.
Some sets have info texts and some don't, but when they do I tend to just write that I tagged it and leave it at that. I doubt the text files matter much. I don't think any of the sets can be considered preliminary at this point.

- One important thing - time the songs for two loops, this is the VGM standard (I'm sticking to).
For Oblivion, I'd just time it to two loops of the most standing out section of the song.
