Playstation demo disc songs rippable? by nensondubois at 7:15 PM EST on December 5, 2007
I wounder if the music in the 12 box demos game select song music can be ripped into PSFs? Interactive Demo disc is an example of this and the playstation underground demo series, jampack and also the ones that came in promo in magazines the ones have good music. Here is a video to simplify it

and a pic from the video!

XWB files? by F at 11:03 PM EST on December 9, 2007
They come in my BLOOD+ one night kiss iso, the game is for PS2, and I've been searching all this way along without an answer.

Anybody know how to extract the sound files in it, or just a music player for that type of file?
Diddy Kong Racing by Poobah1 at 5:38 AM EST on December 10, 2007
Just in case you guys have forgotten (or are unaware), the Player Select track from the Diddy Kong Racing USF set still needs to be split up into a one-track-per-game-character format since it's one of those tracks that uses multiple sets of instruments and effects and things, like in the Banjo games.

Thanks. :)

EDIT: Also, the track, "island" also needs to be split up.

dsp looping by admiralpete at 2:15 AM EST on December 15, 2007
I downloaded the MegaMan Network Transmission DSP files from this site, and I was wondering how to get them to loop twice and fade for ten seconds. Any help would be appreciated.
Gamecube music files in an ISO? by Dude at 11:13 AM EST on December 17, 2007
ok this may sound stupid but...

I recently bought Nintendo Puzzle Collection for the Gamecube and loved the music in the Panel de Pon game. I downloaded the GCM and was wondering if it was possible to extract mp3s or something from it. There are 2 files I am wondering if it contains the music data. One is a .szp file and the other is a .samp file. Has anyone heard of either of these file extensions?
Merry Xmas/Newyears 2008! by unknownfile at 5:49 AM EST on December 25, 2007
Hey guys! I'm in Australia (and you aren't, ahaha). I don't really have much to say, other than it's been a bit of a crazy year, what with all the failures of a DS format and everything. Besides that, I smell a bit like fish, and I need to get off to the shower as a result.

ITT: post your xmas giftlist, etc.
Ripping samples from Mystical Ninja 64 by Lunar at 3:19 PM EST on December 27, 2007
I'm trying to use SRip to rip out all the sound samples from Mystical Ninja 64, but I'm having some trouble. I've got as far as this:

Ripping from .ctl offset 0x086B10, .tbl offset 0x0973C0
Ripping Bank File
Ripping 1/79 instruments (SR: 44100, Original: 44100)
Illegal predictor number 14. I 0 S 0 WBase 0973C0(000000) = 0973C0

What that tells me is that there's 78 instruments not being ripped for some reason - possibly related to the error message at the bottom (I don't know what it means.) Basically, all it has managed to rip is one (rather ambiguous 'click') sample.

Any idea how I could fix this? I figure I could spend all evening messing with this and get nowhere, when someone here probably has the intuition to work it out within five minutes.

Thanks.

Wii decryption?!?! by Mouser X at 2:50 AM EST on December 29, 2007
HCS linked me to this in #usf. The video shows them running homebrew code on the Wii. Apparently to get there, they got some of the Wii decryption keys. If I understand correctly, this means we can *FINALLY* rip some audio from Wii ISOs. I very much hope this is true... Mouser X over and out.

Find out USF\'s Samplerate? by NintendoManiac64 at 3:24 PM EST on December 31, 2007
Hey, just found this place and the USF downloads pwn. (I'm an audiophile, what can I say :P)

But one thing that I haven't figured out is a way to find out a specific USF's samplerate. This is so that I can save some space with my WAV or FLAC conversions for audio playback in Moonshell on my DS.
