That page belongs to AdGuard on Edge. I have tried visiting those pages with that installed, and am able to successfully. Perhaps try updating the extension or its list?

That "demo" set contains files from the PS4 release. Therefore it is impossible to be a rip from the PC demo. Please, don't do that.


I'll explain how Street Fighter 6 files work and should be ripped.

Games using Wwise audio need .bnk with song info, and .wem with audio. .bnk often don't have any audio and are useless without .wem. Such is the case as the "SF6 Demo set" uploaded.

This is not a problem with vgmstream, .bnk just don't have any audio so the demo set can't be used in any meaningful way. So it was marked as "[fix - missing .wem]".

Anybody can download the demo and properly extract .wem and reupload. Not **any** .wem should be used, but files **from the PC demo**.

SF6 uses the RE Engine .pak that can be extracted with various tools, for example RETool or RE.PAK.Tool.

Tools use a filename list (downloaded in the RE.PAK.Tool link), for example: REtool.exe -h SF6_STM_Demo.list -x (file).pak. That should generate many named files. Among those there are 2 folders with audio:
natives/stm/product/sound/wwise/*
natives/stm/streaming/product/sound/wwise/*

Those folders should contain many .sbnk.1.x64 (.bnk renamed) and .spck.1.x64 (.pck renamed). The first folder has tiny .pck that are useless. The second folder has real .pck that can be extracted to get .wem.

To extract .spck.1.x64/.pck you can use this quickbms script (or any other tools), and rename .sbnk.1.x64 to .bnk.

With both .bnk and .wem you can use wwiser to create .txtp + names, with some effort. Then you would have a proper SF6 demo set, which can be uploaded.

I'll have to wait until someone else uploads a proper SF6 Demo set... By the way, has a gamerip of Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics been ripped yet? There are sets for Capcom Beat 'Em Up Bundle, and Capcom Fighting Collection on the site, but not Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics and Capcom Fighting Collection 2 (which was just released).

Hello bnnm,
It took a lot of digging but I found your github and now this board, as I've been trying to educate myself on ripping game audio from SF6.

I have been able to successfully extract the .bnk files, and have been using vgmstream to convert to wav.

But what I'm wondering is is there any way to convert .wav back to .wem without needing the Wwise CLI?

I want to make an app/web app that can be freely distributed so that people can more easily make and load mods, but I'm stuck here.

Maybe one of your tools or a bms script would do the trick?

Will there be any Nintendo Switch 2 gamerips soon? The console itself was just released, but i'd think the Switch 2 version of Street Fighter 6 could be a good game to start out with.
