- Interesting phenomenon in a Mario Kart 64 USF by rubidinger at 10:51 PM EST on February 12, 2008
- I had track 16 - Winning Results on infinite loop for awhile when I noticed something strange--the melody switched. This didn't seem to make any sense to me because it had been playing for at least thirty minutes, and a friend of mine assured me that the cause of my hearing it was personal insanity. This wasn't enough for me, so I bumped up the track time to 150 minutes and started seeking around for the switch. Sure enough, around 111 minutes in, a distinct change in the melody took place. It repeated for one or two loops, then went back to the usual melody.
Has anyone else noticed this? I can't understand why a simple 1.5-minute song would suddenly change its melody after almost two hours of looping. Is it some kind of obscure error? Is it even possible to idle on the results screen long enough to hear this? Do other MK64 tracks do this?
Edit: I opened the track on infinite loop again earlier and heard the melody switch around 54-55 minutes in, so the one near 111 minutes isn't the first.

- Burnout 2 NWS files. by marcusss at 6:24 AM EST on February 13, 2008
- Hi all.
I was reading somewhere that the in_cube supports .rws files is this true? In this case, burnout 2 for Gamecube , has a stack on .rws files in the music folder but they play all static. You can hear some sound but too much garbage static.. Any ideas how to play it back?.
I uploaded a few small files for you to have a look at. (4mb total)

- Ocarina of Time sound effects? by Peppyman at 8:36 AM EST on February 14, 2008
- Is there a way to extract the sound effects from the OOT rom? I love the ambient sound effects of birds and stuff it reminds me of playing the game years ago. The same with mario 64 the background noise of princess peach's courtyard.

- Winamp Problem by bxaimc at 11:46 AM EST on February 22, 2008
- Everytime i start up winamp with any song, there's like a delay to the program. The song plays while the delay but the entire program is frozen until the song reaches up to like 10 secs of play time. Also, everytime i push the play button on winamp, it freezes up like before and has a delay.
Anyone know how to fix this?
- How to set In_Cube to 48Khz? by Franpa at 7:49 PM EST on March 2, 2008
- How to set it to 48Khz? Sonic Heroes for the PC rip says 48Khz is best >.> is that what the songs recorded at? or are they recorded at 32Khz (the rate winamp plays it at)

- UF\'s big list of stupid projects by unknownfile at 10:08 AM EST on March 3, 2008
- So I can keep it all to one thread without it spilling all over the place, and also to give myself some sort of importance when there is nothing that I'm important for.
2sf - this is pretty much complete, but I'd like to phase out some crap relating to savestates
mdsf - still working on a port of Gens to Winamp
jaudio - the gamecube debuggers are crap and I'm not too interested in it at the moment
notsofatso - I'd like to get the Battletoads NSF working but the Nintendulator code (which, to my knowledge, is the only player that can get it working) is too cryptic in order to tell how the IRQs work. also the VRC7 tones don't really matter
other projects - busy with quite a bit of work so I can't really do much
- what format is Brawl\'s music in? by Franpa at 4:18 AM EST on March 5, 2008
- hi, im having trouble finding out where to get the original files because people are uploading gigabyte torrents of mp3's... do the original files = a gigabyte? or is it just that size because idiots think mp3 is better?
what is the original format and what is it's file extension. thank you.
