.BIN support by nensondubois at 5:11 PM EDT on April 6, 2008
I have many Sega Saturn games that have their music in .BIN format and no players support this format. Any ideas? .ADV is not supported either but it's not as common as .BIN is.

Any Last FM users? PSFs and SPCs do not work by Lunar at 6:29 AM EDT on April 7, 2008
I'm trying to figure out how I can get Last FM to pick up PSF and SPC files, as they are a huge portion of my listening habits. USF, SSF, 2SF and VGZ seem to get picked up by the Last FM software no problem, but strangely PSF doesn't, which confuses me as it's the same tagging format as other xSF formats, or so I thought. I understand SPC is a different tagging format though, so I'm not surprised that doesn't work.

Perhaps there is some 3rd party software that will pick them up? I figure this would be a good place to ask.

(obviously converting all the soundtracks to mp3 is not feasible, before anyone mentions it.)

EDIT: guess I should mention GSF also doesn't work, and that I'm using Winamp.

A bunch of idiots douse a torch with water by unknownfile at 10:09 AM EDT on April 7, 2008
The result: Nothing changes, and an authoritarian regime gets an excuse to harass its citizens even more over a bunch of steroid-infused idiots playing stupid games.

The Olympics is a waste of time. In fact, professional sports are as well. It's the same old shit: idiots who were too lazy to actually put their brain to use in school inject themselves with steroids and they run about in a circlejerk of idiocy.

Tibet will stay in the control of China, nothing will be boycotted. The protests... they do nothing!

How do I get the actual sound files? by jacfalcon at 2:22 PM EDT on April 7, 2008
Hi everyone.

The main reason I'm interested in in-cube and stuff is beacause I want the soundtrack from the game Amazing Island. I searched and requested it many times, and it comes down to trying to get it from my copy of the game. I have the disc, but I need to know how to access the files on it. Can anyone give me advice on how to get to the files on the disc so I can play them? I know how to play them as I've already installed the plugin in Winamp. I just need to move the files from the disc.

Thanks,
Jac Falcon
Music Files in \"Titanic: Adventure Out of Time\" by sithlord999 at 4:18 PM EDT on April 7, 2008
I'm trying to rip the music from the 1996 PC game "Titanic: Adventure Out of Time", but I've ran into a problem.

I couldn't identify the format of the audio files, so I imported them into Audacity as RAW. While I can hear the music playing, it's very distorted and there's lots of static.

Does anyone know of a way to get these in their original form? Here's one of the files if you need to look at it:

Problem with Mario Kart .BRSTM by Omochao at 2:38 AM EDT on April 9, 2008
Although most of the files will play, the larger files (whose names all start with STRM) will not.

VGMstream: doesn't recognize them
in_cube: crashes WinAmp

GCN USB Memory Card Manager? by PokeParadox at 6:39 PM EDT on April 9, 2008
Hi guys, I'm hoping you can help me out. :)

I have one of those USB Memory cards for the GameCube. Unfortunately I can't find my software for it and I want to backup some saves...

So does anyone know of where I can find some software to manage the USB saves transfers...

I know GameShark had GameSaves which was compatible, but I also can't find where I can download it...

any help, as usual, is most appreciated.

Shining The Holy Ark SSF by Elven Spellmaker at 8:18 PM EDT on April 14, 2008
I got Shining The Holy Ark SSF's from here

ftp://ftp.modland.com/pub/modules/Saturn Sound Format/Motoi Sakuraba/Shining The Holy Ark/

And I am using AOSSF v 1.16 which I got from here...

http://foobar2000.xrea.jp/up/index.php?page=2

Does anyone know if this is the latest version of AOSSF for winamp, or if there is another plugin, or if there is another source of these files, because quite a few of them don't play correctly, for example the map theme, when a crash symbol plays, it carries on loudly, it does this in a number of songs... There are other emulation errors.

Is this just that SSF plugins are still unfinished? Or is it badly ripped files.

Many Thanks
