- Tor at school by unknownfile at 11:57 AM EDT on September 10, 2007
- Due to idiots at school blocking access to a lot of websites (including proxies), I went ahead and dug up a copy of Vidalia, and it works great. I'm posting this through Tor.
The software the school is using is FortiGuard.
According to this, http://www.ncte.ie/documents/broadband/FilteringCategoriesv2.pdf the school software blocks sites relating to teh gays. Onoez, we're all going to die!

Was mentioned recently on the rockbox dev list, where people are discussing licensing issues.

- Elections are coming up in Ontario, and in an attempt to get community service hours, I will be supporting the local district's MPP.
!!! WARNING: USELESS INFORMATION AHEAD !!!
Also, for those who don't know how the Canadian political system works, here's a brief summary. Each region of Canada is split up into a district which handles small bits of population (about 35,000 people per district). In this area are two representatives to two governments - MPs (Member of Parliament) who represent the district at the federal level, and the MPPs (Member of Provincial Parliament) who represent the district at the provincial level. When elections occur, the representative who earns the most votes is able to cast a vote in favor of a possible candidate for leadership in the election. I'm guessing this is somewhat different from the US political system.
!!! THAT IS ALL, ENJOY YOUR DAY !!!
Homework has started flowing in at a steady pace as well, so I will need to start work on a lot of it soon.

- Doh, killed (temporarily, I hope) my wireless router. DD-WRT just very recently added support for the Linksys WRT54Gv8, but apparently some v8s have a strange flash chip. I noted that in the instructions, and took apart the router to confirm that I did in fact have the worrisome chip, but I went ahead and tried it anyway. So now I have a nonfunctional router. Hopefully in a few days this will be worked out...

- I was up at sunrise this morning, decided to take a picture. Wanted to get both the sky and the ground, so I took a long and a short exposure and combined them. behold.
