Thanks a lot! But is Nintendo for real with the 32khz sample rate? 2016?

@starerik - Nintendo is still Nintendo, though. I could resample their stuff for remastering purposes, but what can I do?

By the way, here is Star Fox Guard's .wem files. Includes all the .wem files, except the voices themselves, which are located in a specific folder designed for each language the voices were recorded in. They can be converted using the latest version of ww2ogg, but only some of them as you also need to use ima_rejigger5 for those as well since they are both Vorbis(most of the .wem files) and PCM(few of the .wem files) data.

Interesting. So it can export .wem files to .ogg, but not to other formats?

Thanks for finding a solution!

.wem can contain many different kinds of audio: PCM (as in a standard .wav), IMA ADPCM, XMA, etc. One format it supports is Vorbis, as in a .ogg, but it doesn't store it in the standard Ogg Vorbis format. ww2ogg takes those files and losslessly converts them to standard Ogg Vorbis. Converting to any other format (like PCM .wav or MP3) would involve decoding the Vorbis, which you can feel free to do, but ww2ogg tries to keep things as close as possible to the original data.

If anyone has access to Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, I noticed today that the files for all the level select and boss songs aren't with the rest of the soundtrack. They don't... sound sequenced, so maybe they're just hidden somewhere away from everything else for some reason?

If anyone's curious, it's the following songs in the sound test: 40, 41, 51, 63, 72, 74, 84, 86, 92, 93, 101, 102, 106, 107, 114

Most of the world songs are actually non-looped tracks that are BFWAVs, that are looped through sequencs. World 1 and the world map select are sequenced though. The world map select uses sequences for the guitar sound and the rest is one sample, World 1 is straight up sequenced though. The boss drums are also sequenced.

Well I'll be damned, that's crazy. Thanks for the info though!
