- MP3 CDs are great. Too bad most stereo systems can't play them.

- They stupidly mastered Advent Children Complete. While making the dialogue louder and more understandable, the overall volume is blatantly reduced during action scenes.
Why don't they hire me to do a better job? :P
- Abandoned Theme (Zelda Remix) RECOGNIZED by Yoshinkeru at 2:44 PM EDT on June 26, 2009
- Hey waitasecond! I know that "Abandoned Theme"!! I once downloaded the "Overworld" and "Dungeon" themes in MIDI form, purporting to come from a CD-i game (which, I'm not sure). That "Abandoned Theme" is part of the "Dungeon" theme!
...Crud, I can't find the website right now. I'll keep looking, I know it's around here...
(I've still got the MIDIs, but I wouldn't know how to upload those!)
- by Elven Spellmaker at 2:49 PM EDT on June 27, 2009
- Upload it to somewhere like mediafire or rapidshare.
Wait, what abandoned theme?
You don't mean this site do you?

- Xbox 360 version of The Orange Box boasts 1080p on the back of the box.
PS3 version of The Orange Box is only 720p.
However, I've read that Microsoft likes to advertise the up-scaled resolution instead of the native resolution, like Sony does. Apparently the Xbox 360 up-scales everything. Basically false advertising. We'll see what EA has to say about their crappy PS3 port (the crappiest part is a huge sound distortion glitch that makes the game unplayable after an indefinite amount of playtime.)
Sounds like another reason to dislike the Microsoft Xbox, with the STILL UNRESOLVED Red Ring of Death. I witnessed one this past week. Third one for those people.
The Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories streams generously provided by arbingordon have pops in them, just like in-game. Maybe Mr. Square-Enix Sound Guy should listen to the files after he encodes them? That's just too obvious.
What happened to quality assurance?
- Irony by hcs at 7:09 PM EDT on July 10, 2009
- There's two printers in our local copy room at work, one is a big B&W network copy machine, the other is a color laser. A coworker was trying to print out a document which features the IBM logo. We have a special font for that, so it's actually the letters I,B,M in that font. The B&W printer handled this ok, but the color one simply left out the logo. Apparently it doesn't have that font and the drivers weren't handling it correctly.
Now, the irony:
This is an IBM printer, said logo is right on the front of the machine.

- @SmartOne
This isn't surprising since SQEX has done a bad job at looping streams sometimes. Actually, It's quite common in games such as Unlimited Saga, Dawn of Mana, KH Re:CoM, Musashi: Samurai Legend. and even Final Fantasy XIII has noticable clicking at the loop.

- I think the clicks occur in random places in Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories (more than one place in some songs.)
I miss good ol' fashioned Final Fantasy X and X-2 style sequences. Streams can be so lifeless.
