- Just pointing out a couple of things on the Requests page. There are two requests for "Paper Mairo, one for "Banjo Tooie" (lacks a dash between Banjo and Tooie), two for "Mario Party 1". I think the rest is fine.
I don't know whether this is more annoying or helpful, but oh well.
EDIT: Also, "Quest 64" has a space in it. And I'm not sure whether you'd rather file that under the title "Holy Magic Century", which I believe it was called everwhere bar North America.

- I went ahead and removed all the misspelled entries you mentioned (and I got Mortal Kombat 4 and Mario Party 3 while I was at it).
Regarding Quest 64/Holy Magic Century, I've considered adding another column for alternate names (for instance the Pokemons, whatever Bust-a-Move's other name is (Puzzle Bobble?), Mischief Makers, Jet Force Gemini) but I haven't gotten around to it. If someone would compile a list for me then I could just plug it in. It'd only be there to make searches more successful.

- 3 votes for "1080 Snowboarding", 2 votes for "1080? Snowboarding". The latter is obviously the more accurate title, but I guess people don't know how to type the degrees symbol, so even if you do correct this one, you'll probably still get more results for "1080 Snowboarding" as more people submit votes.

- I was thinking about this situation just recently, and I think that I might have a solution. It may be a good idea - it may be a bad idea, but here it goes:
So, I go to Google and make a spelling error in my search. Google brings up a search page that has results for my misspelled query. Then, instead of leaving me to figure out why on earth I got results that were not related to my search, a message is displayed that says, "Did you mean [insert search item]?"
Now, could that be implemented on the request page? What you could do is if an entry is within X characters of matching another entry, the request page could display the existing entires that are close to the new entry. So if someone accidently typed "Paper Mairo" the page would come back and say "Did you mean Paper Mario?" Alternately, you could have it say "Your entry '1080 Snowboarding' resembles another entry '1080? Snowboarding'. Do you wish to change your entry to match the existing one?"
Anyway, I think that it would help, and I don't think that it would be a lot of work to implement. (I don't THINK so; I could be wrong.) But anyway, it is something to think about.

- I really don't think it's worth the effort. Users requesting should simply be less lazy. If symbols can't be typed, why not just copy the name from the list?

- I suppose another way to help people submit valid choices could be through a dropdown box that would list all (Good)N64 verified titles, sans the region variants of course - kinda like the approach most country selection forms utilize instead of letting users from wherever just type in a string according to what their own national or spelling habits would dictate. I do realize this sounds kinda tedious or long-drawn to implement and first shape up and it's obviously not a flawless solution either, as issues like unlisted, lesser known games' variants (a-la F-Zero X 64DD) or homebrew demos or anything else might be missing from such a list, but I suppose in such infrequent cases, folks could just come in here and ask for manual inclusion of such things. There might also be the matter of GoodN64 naming (un)familiarity to consider, like ppl searching for "The World is not Enough", or "TWINE" near the bottom of the list, while the game's proper name starts with "007" or something like that, and keep complaining how their favourite music-featuring game "eeZ n0t derr", but, again, I suspect that's not an entirely insurmountable obstacle either. Also, subsequent lists after the first dropdown one could omit the first choice to disable multi-voting (if desired) and games could easily be stricken from the list and slots relinquished back to users upon ripping of a title. Anyway, just an idea I got as I was reading all this for a package solution; could help, could annoy, so consider with any level of seriousness.

PS: Haven't posted much here lately so cheers to folks registered here in the past few months, helping out with ripping, providing any other kind of support or whatever. BTW, danke for those 64DD tracks too, mr. HCS.

- The requests list is not important enough to do that work on. If someone will code a matching algorithm (or wants to rewrite the whole thing) by all means do so and I'll put it up.
I deleted the F-Zero X Expansion tracks not too long ago because they hadn't been downloaded in a while and I'm running a little short on server space.

My 5 votes went to Wipeout 64. I really like the music in that game.
