If it's listed as preliminary, it means that for some reason, the ripper is not ready to release it yet. It could very well be a full rip, but it might take too much CPU, or it might be an ugly rip (full of unneeded garbage/code/stuff), or it might simply not have tags (this is common). Or, it might be unstable, and cause your computer to implode on itself, creating a black hole in the process. While the latter is unlikely, I point it out to show that the "preliminary" status is there to designate that it's not read for release, whatever the reason.

Also, there's an edit feature. See that link at the bottom of your post? Just pointing out that there's no need to double post. Mouser X over and out.

Did Quake II have music? It has just an intro music and a credits music. The rest was ambient. Or have i missed that?

Bumpus Maximus

There's a fairly crappy tennis game by Hudson called "Centre Court Tennis" (or "Let's Smash Tennis" in Japan). I've just been messing around with it - some pretty nice musicage in there. The game works with VGMTrans (34 sequences pop up), so I am guessing it uses a common driver - that would mean it's not too hard to rip right? Sadly no sound-test though. Anyway, just an idea. Failing that I'll listen to the midis.

I wonder how many people have forgotten my request for Duck Dodgers (in the 24 1/2 Century).

Also, now that I've actually heard the music from the F-Zero expansion pack (seen the videos on YouTube--YOU CAN ACTUALLY BUILD YOUR OWN TRACKS?!? I WOULD SO PLAY WITH THAT!!!), I'd love to own those tracks, too.
Quake II music? by jurassicPieter at 11:48 AM EST on November 23, 2008
What Quake II music? Most of it was ambient background sounds. Only a small intro music was heard when starting the game and the credits music. I can make a recording of them if you want me to.
