Disappearing from Tracker? by logan28469 at 7:09 PM EDT on August 17, 2011
Why are there 2 different versions of Link's Crossbow Training? Link's Crossbow Training (2007)(Nintendo)[WII][PCM - Sequenced][AST] and Link's Crossbow Training (2007)(Nintendo)[WII][Nintendo DSP - PCM][AST - BNS]
I don't know which one's better or what the differences are because I can't find the files. Only one is on the tracker, and I can't download anything yet because my ratio will drop to 0 as I've not succeeded at seeding anything yet. Also, I can't find Super Mario Galaxy 2 even on the tracker. It seems as if the files originally were, though. Why did they just disappear?
I'm not sure why SMG2 disappeared, I still have a .torrent for it but it isn't on the tracker anymore. I've reupped it.
The main difference between those is the [PCM - Sequenced] one also contains all the sound banks. They aren't very useful, though. The [Nintendo DSP - PCM] one contains all the streams, including the banner sound. You can find that one in the "Streams 2009-10-19" torrent.
Just when my ISP fails... Now I don't know how I'll seed a month (unless I somehow can hide my laptop at my friend's house ...for a month). Hopefully people keep SMG 2 from dying so that it isn't gone by the time I get my chance. Just 28.5 days to go
Does it say what my total seeding time is anywhere? And if I seed multiple torrents at a time, do I reach the one month seeding time faster, or is that not a combined total and would mean that it doesn't matter how many torrents I seed? Also, my total time spent uploading to peers has only been a few minutes, even though I've got a couple of days at least from seeding.
About seeding - if this tracker uses ratio system: you will only increase your ratio if you have some other people downloading from you any part of that VGM torrent. To be more precise: if you downloaded some rip, but nobody else downloads it (you must have connected peers, who also want that specific rip), your ratio will be the same... The point is: it's worthless if you're seeding something that nobody else downloads for great time period. So, if your current concern is about increasing your ratio, you must first download something which is popular at the moment, so other peers will download those parts from you. There are some trackers that use time system, which is in my opinion the best-you download something, and seed it (of course it can be multiple things at the same time) and no matter if someone downloads the parts from you or doesn't, your "time points" will increase. And what are they for? They are spent when you download something else, and when you seed, they are comin' again... So that system is ratio-free. Some Russian trackers use it, and I've been downloading bunch of stuff, without worrying about my ratio. F*cking legendary system!
