@artsyaqua
Nice find! And right on the money too. You 'oughta message Totaka and ask him which specific Casio product he used. Because based on the fact that there are WAY more samples that sound similar to the Casio samples, it wouldn't be hard to imagine he used something that was more useful but related to the Rapman.

Anyway, what backs your find up is that...

31 ELEC BASS (though without the detuned phasing) is used for K.K. Mambo, K.K. Ska, The K. Funk, K.K. Rock, K.K. Soul, DJ K.K., and K.K. Western

22 VIBRAPHONE may have been used for Aloha K.K. (based on the envelope alone), and K.K. Soul

48 GAMELAN was used for Imperial K.K. and maybe K.K. Safari

13 FLUTE may have been used in K.K. Folk, K.K. Blues, and K.K. Soul

11 BRASS ENS was used in Go K.K. Rider!

Also 101 pages woo!

What synths were used on New Super Mario Bros U/2?
I am guessing Fantom/Triton for a lot of sounds. Also, what synths are used on Captain Toad, Treasure Tracker. Also, Synthmania has a Roland Fantom XR page (Fantom X rack). I found a lot of sounds from Super Mario 3D World/Land.
@Master_E
I had a Casio SA-38 and SA-75 for sure when I was a kid. I hear some sounds that sound familiar, maybe it was an early 90's Casio (those had all those sounds).

A small keyboard was used for making the Super Mario Bros theme. Does anyone have any idea what this was?

@PokeMusic All Nintendo music is composed in Logic, so some sounds are Logic's own. Like the steeldrums used in New U and 3D World.

To be honest, I'm not sure if Super Mario 3D World uses Korg Triton actually. The drums that were "proven" in Champion's Road are actually from Roland Fantom, I can't remember if it's "28 Nu Technica" or "29 Machine Kit2" though. All other proof I've heard about were from songs that were reused from Super Mario 3D Land.

EDIT: I recently found that the Kirby 64 boss drum loop is most likely a high-pitched version of Ueberschall Jam Box's 39 TRIP 90, with either a hi hat in there and/or some reverb effect.

Certainly seems to be it. Good find! No idea where the Hi Hat's would be from, though.

Is anyone else willing to help me with locating the sounds used in Mega Man X4? I don't mean to be rude in the slightest, but I really do need another person's assistance.

Listening to another Synthmania.com video.
"Fusion Solo" here sounds like it could be the synth lead from Super Street Fighter II Turbo I hadn't been able to source yet. For comparison's sake:
Dee Jay's Theme
Balrog's Theme
