XGlite by G-Boy at 12:42 PM EDT on September 19, 2016
I have a Yamaha DGX-650 with an XGlite sound bank. Does your keyboard have XGlite too?
by PokeMusic at 3:02 PM EDT on September 19, 2016
@G-Boy
Yes. It has 457 XGLite presets. As well as digital filter controls. And it has some sounds different than a PSR e413 (the 443 has 755 sounds).

@PokeMusic Interesting...I haven't used my PSR-E413 in a while so I don't know how many instruments were on it, but I hope at least one game used instruments that appeared on the Yamaha PSR-E413...then I'll have something a composer used.

"Roland Sound Canvas" is a bit too broad. Maybe a specific map, ie SC-55, SC-88, SC-88pro, SC-8820, etc.

Yes, I believe the different Sound Canvas models have different sounds. While in many cases subsequent models within a "family" of modules will retain the sounds of previous models while adding new ones, there are also cases where sounds are changed or replaced.

While I'm posting, it sure sounds to my ear like the remix of Felicia's Night Warriors theme on the Dance Revolution Vol. 1 album uses the same bass as the original ingame song. If we can identify gear used in that album, it may in turn act a s a lead toward samples sources in the game.

My PSR e443 also has the Big Band Brass. And the bass someone found in the Team Skull Battle is Square One Bass which is in HALion. Same software comes with the quack sound in the rival battle song (that one is tweaked though).
