Game: Resident Evil 2 (Biohazard 2)
Track: The Beginning of Story
Time: 0:12
Library: Creative Essentials Vol. 7: Dream Zone
Sample: Track 35, sample 2 (07_35_02)

By the way, this one drumloop from Cuckooland Unhinged has been bugging me for quite some time. I know I've heard it somewhere (most certainly in a game), and I'm 99.9% sure there's an upbeat female voice talking when the drum loop starts playing. For some reason I just happen to remember that, but I can't remember what she says (maybe the title of the game or something).. Does it ring any bell for anyone?

I was wrong about the FFVII strings, they're from the Kurzweil K1200 and not the JV-1080.
Re:More Koei Tecmo by XaikuTheMaverickHunter at 2:24 PM EDT on July 11, 2017
@G-Boy
No, I have that sound library, and that's not it (the drum kit can't even be found on that expansion board, in fact). I'm still sticking to my "KORG Trinity" guns on that one. Thanks for effort, though (no sarcasm).
Amen, Advent by Xane123 at 3:11 PM EDT on July 11, 2017
Sample: Amen Break
Source: Amen, Brother
Game: Mega Man ZX Advent
Date: 2007
Console: DS
Music: Twisted Vine (Tower of Verdure)
Composers: Masaki Suzuki

Near the end of Twisted Vine, a different drum loop starts playing; Slowing it down reveals it's a compressed version of the Amen Break.

Comparison is here. First is the game's sample, second is the Amen Break, third is both at the same time. It's a perfect match! It originates from the end of the break, right before the cymbal.

Someone a while back mentioned Pokepark having Stylus RMX's Hiccup Island preset in one of its songs (Unfortunately you were not the first lol so sorry to burst your bubble :p). My friends and I did some research a couple months back and found quite a few loops used in the music. I put them all in a tiny section at the bottom of the Pokemon VGM Spreadsheet, so since many will likely gloss over it, I'll duplicate it here:

51 Scuba Duba Combo        - Haunted Zone ~Rotom~
62 Artificial Blue Bones    - Cavern Zone
63 Hiccup Island Combo        - Beach Zone
66 Granular Flower Assimilate    - Haunted Zone
70 Datalife Combo        - Lava Zone
84 Particles Clavasas        - Flower Zone
140 Run Lola Run Combo        - Rotom's Spooky Shoot'em-Up
160 Find The Exit Toms        - Cavern Zone
160 Find The Exit Combo        - Mew Chase
174 World Hunt Combo Big    - Rotom's Spooky Shoot'em-Up

It sounds like the Jack-In SFX has two layers. Not sure what the second one is.

The second layer can be found on a JV-1080. PR-C:126 ComputerRoom.
