I concur with the synthmania stuff. Oh, I hope roland releases a software version of JV 1080 sometime, or someone here is rich and can get an integra 7 :V

Hopefully if they actually do that they use expansion cards too. I found out recently that the Mario and Luigi games use them.

This was used in Gritzy Desert http://synthmania.com/Roland%20SR-JV80-05%20World/Audio/193%20Sitar%20Gliss.mp3

And this is the steel drums they used for Twinsy Tropics http://synthmania.com/Roland%20SR-JV80-05%20World/Audio/030%20Steel%20Drums2.mp3

I dunno Benjamin. I'm on the fence of that Sitar Gliss being the one from Gritzy Desert. Maybe shoot Yoko a tweet and ask her if you guessed correctly on that one?

The Steel Drums are likely the one though, so I honestly don't know anymore.

Would I be wrong in assuming the synth bells in Great Revival ~ Franziska von Karma from Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice For All are the same (or at least similar to) the ones found in the Deus Ex Title?

@Master_E: IDK how to contact her, but it definitely sounded like the sound used in Gritzy Desert.

I've asked her about Parasite Eve before but she never answered. :(

I hope she's just busy, because sharing what instruments you used is hardly anything secretive. They're called public sound libraries for a reason, ya know!

Ask again later.

Holy shit!!! I found it lol that "bah" sound from NSMB2/NSMBU in the Sound Canvas VST, instead this time its presumably a "lah" sound. In SC-8820 Map go to Ensemble and scroll down to the sample labeled "ChorusLahFem" and "VoiceLah Fem" you'll immediately recognize them once you hear them :D enjoy pure awesomeness~

Actually the bah's came from Best Service Voice Spectral Vol. 1, there should be a link to it somewhere within this very thread.
