- Thanks for gettting back to your seeding duties Mouser. Right now I'm trying to download both Shadow rips, and both PSO rips. If I manage to get them I'll help out seeding for a couple weeks or so.

- FLACs of Ecco the Dolphin on Sega CD are on the tracker now.

- Just an update for File Front. Irasu from Rockman Perfect Memories has posted a full-length video that was directly ripped from the new Mega Man game for the PSP on File Front.
My point is, if File Front will allow a video ripped from a disk image to exist on their site, I would imagine that they would have no problem with GC music. (By the way, the download speed is about 100 KB/s - much better than Bit Torrent.)
Just something to think about.

- If we had enough seeds, BitTorrent would blast 100k out of the water. As it is, I seem to be seeding almost everything, most of the time, and I only have 20k upload to work with. So, BitTorrent is, in my opinion, much better than most direct download services (better speed, better bandwidth distribution among those hosting files), as long as there's enough people seeding the torrents.
So, in the current situation, then yes, I'd basically agree that getting these files on a server would be a good thing (I don't have an always-on, 100% stable connection either, so I can't be seeding 24/7, though I do try). Anyway, just my 2 cents in defense of torrents (as long as the situation is a good one). Mouser X over and out.

- Yeah, exactly. If we were a huge site with numerous visitors a day, then Bit Torrent will probably be a good solution. However, I think that it is kind of a waste of time when I have to wait for 6 hours to download 60 meg of music files. Even a site with a restricted download speed would be better than that. In this situation a server with a reliably high download rate would be optimal.
Mouser, just to clarify, I am not at all discounting your seeding efforts. Thank you for your dedication to distributing these sets. However, I am all about making things better. (That may be a bad habit of mine, but...oh well.) So, by making this suggestion, I do not really mean that you are doing a bad job of seeding; I am just stating that some things may be able to be better than they are now. I hope that you understand - I try not to be a perfectionist.
Thanks.

- I've generally had a distaste for free file hosting services, but if the people ripping are willing to put them up there I'll be the last person to complain. I just set up the BT tracker because we were using BT at the time (as the first few sets were popular it worked well) and we wanted to avoid using other slow or poorly run public trackers.
And while this isn't a huge site, we do get hundreds of visitors daily...

- Well, I just found this site today, and there's not much info about it. However, it says it has unlimited storage space, and unlimited bandwidth. It will serve/host files that are up to 100mb. Take a look and see what you think for yourself. http://www.bjwaymods.net/
However, the owner says they reserve the right to delete any file they don't want to host. So, while it does sound pretty nice, I kind of don't think DSP sets would stay on it for to long. But who knows? It does host lots of stuff (at least, it looks like it does to me). Mouser X over and out.

- I just finished getting it.
Why didn't you include the two variants of each track from the AIX?
