I wasn't able to get at a computer capable of DSP dumping last night, and a decoding method occurred to me, so I went ahead and threw something together. There may be more going on, I'll see if I can get around to checking out the DSP ucode today.
Mouser, could you put the MP3s you are comparing to online somewhere?

Did some analysis of BMS last night. They share a header of around 4 bytes or so, which then some stuff is set up. I'm going to try and analyze the rest of the data in the files, and blah blah blah.

Also, I figure this will need 16 channels' worth of data so that might be a pain to program into in_cube, so yeah.

VGMTrans, to my knowledge, does not support this format.

I put together a small bms ripper for the arc files found in Super Mario Sunshine and Luigi's Mansion in the Seqs directory. It is very broken right now, so I'll try and have those bugs fixed tommorow.

Did another tweaking to in_cube, it now does the following:

- support for STX (AFC files from Pikmin)
- AST detection (not exactly correct)

Also, I believe this might solve the static problems in Mario Kart Double Dash.
