Anyway, I found the MKDD music (thanks to the hint in the above post - 293mb, ouch) so now all I need is the PM2 music. Can anyone put it on an uploading site or on a BT tracker, please?

Thanks so much! I'm downloading it now (around 1 hour left, apparently).

Hey, MouserX.. Still waiting to see how I can help you distribute your sets, man.

Again, you can email me at kt_blank@hotmail.com or just post here. Whatever works best. =P

Thanks,
Blank

Well, HCS has given me better access to the server. As such, I can now direct link files that I've uploaded. So, I shouldn't need webspace, I don't think. Now the issue is a tracker, and cleaning up sets. Considering how long I've been sitting on some of these (1 year + for Dark Summit, I think...) I think my best option would be to archive what I have, and upload it as-is. If I do that, then cleaning wouldn't need to be done either (but dang, I don't like the mess...).

What it comes down to is, thanks for the offer of webspace (it is appreciated, and I *might* still take you up on the offer, to help cut down on bandwidth usage from HCS's server, if that's an option). However, I'd like some (so, more than one) torrent sites that are easy (very) to upload (and probably register) to, so that these can be distributed in an easier (less bandwidth hungry, once seeds are built) way.

The other issue I'm mildly concerned about, is what sets to torrent. "Duh, all of them," you say. I agree. The problem is, I want to match HCS's server, where possible (he still has them all on the server, but access is denied, due to bandwidth reasons. Also, there's a *few* that, in my opinion, should be torrented in their original fashion). I know I made a list of who uploaded what. Even so, it's been awhile, and it makes it slightly difficult to match HCS's sets to the ones I already have. I *could* just redownload everything off of HCS's site, but that's a waste of his bandwidth, and of my disc space. I think what I'll try to do, is get CRC numbers for the sets on the server, and CRC numbers for my sets. Using the right software, it will search for the correct CRC number, even if the filename is different. That'd be the easiest way for me to verify what I do, and do not have. If I can do that, I'll see about torrenting/uploading stuff.

Again, what I'd really like is a list of easy, reasonably reliable, torrent sites (that are preferably open. Demonoid and Underground-Gamer are closed/private sites, and generally require high ratios to use [which I always have, yes, but I want it open for other people as well]). So, if some good sites can be mentioned/used and such with ease, then I'll see what I can do (sorry it's taken me so very long...). Mouser X over.

*shrugs*

I pretty much use www.IsoHunt.com exclusively, but I'm not sure you can upload a torrent directly to them.

For that, use http://www.mininova.org/ or http://thepiratebay.org/ two very popular Suprnova replacements.

Man, how I miss Suprnova!

Blame the MPAA and their moneybags, which they always want 100% full.

You'll probably want to use Joh's GC tracker, but it requires registration and you need to seed on a regular basis.

Oh, and the TPB staff are after your money.

So, er, if they are already on the server, would you mind linking to them so we can distribute 'em and whatnot..?

fine, go nuts, let's see how long this lasts:

As awe inspiring as that list is, I'm not really interested in any of those soundtracks. I'm sure they're wonderful, but I already have nice MP3 rips of almost all of those, anyways.

Just looking for Chibi-Robo, I guess...
