Hey Ultrafighter ! How's it going? Yeah I have been a little active recently but I'm sure sooner or later I will have to tone it down quite a it so keeping active in the meantime.

I will try to upload Implosion at some stage ut was let down that practically every version uses the exact files, which are a mess.

I will see if I can rip a couple of the games you mention.

----------------------------------------------

Just uploaded a couple more

iOS

* Tengu - Hiding the Moon - Some Japanese-styled themes though not sure why they used mono for their music.. Nevertheless it is not bad at all.

PC

* Kamidori Alchemy Meister

A few PC goodies:

Alchemage

In the Shadows

The Mummy Demastered (If there's a "Level 7" track, I wasn't able to find it despite combing the files several times over. Otherwise, this should be all the music)

Streets of Rogue (Alpha version, so this might not be the final track list)

Later!

Hi ChillyBilly.

I have had the same with some unity games. One game I could only find levels 1, 2 and 3 music and 1 level 1 boss song , even after joining all the split assets files and.manually going through each file to double check, especially reS / resource files but no luck. Probably they use the music for more than 1 level or something..

@ Ultrafighter I'm glad you enjoyed listening to Diviity OS II !. It does have lots of nice pieces. I have yet to listen to the WHOLE score yet as it is quite big but will listen to every piece soon enough. BTW I had hoped to get the names of each track but have taken a very long time so left them as they were when I ripped them

Also uploaded the PC game * Troll and I *

@marcusss
Hi. Have you tried UnityPack? You'll need Python 3, and it can be installed through pip with the following commands:
pip(3*) install (--user**) unitypack python-lz4 fsb5 (wheel decrunch setuptools cython***)

From there, you can use the unityextract script from the bin folder at https://github.com/HearthSim/UnityPack.

For me, decrunch doesn't install properly, so I downloaded it from https://github.com/HearthSim/decrunch and ran:
python(3*) setup.py build
python(3*) setup.py install

Note that it automatically converts fsb files to ogg. If you want it to extract the raw fsb files, go to your Python library directory where UnityPack is installed (Mine is /usr/local/lib/python3.4/dist-packages/ on Ubuntu. You can also look in site-packages for it.)

Once you're there, take the two unitypack folders (one of them should be something like unitypack-x.x.x.dist-info) and within the same directory, copy them to folders that are named the same but with "unitypack" replaced with "unitypackfsb" or another name of your choosing.

Then, go into your newly-created unitypack folder and open "utils.py" in a text editor and change the following lines:

filename = "%s-%i.%s" % (d.name, i, af.get_sample_extension())

filename = "%s.%s" % (d.name, af.get_sample_extension())

sample = af.rebuild_sample(sample)

with these:

filename = "%s-%i.%s" % (d.name, i, 'fsb')

filename = "%s.%s" % (d.name, 'fsb')

sample = d.data

making sure to keep the indentation the same.

Then, make a copy of the unityextract script, rename it to something appropriate like "unityextractfsb", and open it in a text editor. Replace all instances of "unitypack" with "unitypackfsb" or the name you gave to the new package.

This is how I extracted the raw files from The Silver Case and Crap! No One Loves Me for uploading on here.

*Use this if you're running a Python 3 setup separate from your Python 2 environment.
**If it doesn't work without this option, try using this option.
***Include these if it doesn't install automatically or if you don't already have these.

Thanks Basillica for your reply. I do have Python 3 but tbh I rarely use it. In the past I had python installed to rip some games using VGMtoolbox but not much else.

Very interested in trying it out sometime. I usually use Unity Studio for the standard unity stuff and split assets and stuff which is dificult I use UnityEx.

---------------------------------------------------

iOS

* Apocalypse Max - Better Dead Than UNDEAD - Nice zombie/ghost atmosphere music
* Gangstar Rio - City of Saints
* Giana Sisters - Interesting that the game uses Unity and the music has MP3 ...BUT also uses MOD music..specifically Milky Tracker for most of its ingame music ;-)

* MUSYNX + DLC (Another Rhythm game) This one uses HCA too.

* X-Men Days of Future Past - Game's music is IMA4 i.e ..Apple IMA format inside Apple's CAF Audio and doesn't work with vgmstream. It does however work with VLC.

* Godfire
* The World II Hunting BOSS
* Might and Mayhem
* Overkill
* Inotia 3
* Kingdom Rush HD
* Badland
* Alien Shooter Ex
* Contra Evolution
* Lara Croft: Relic Run

More to come

Okay, let's do this:

PC

AngerForce: Reloaded

Eschatos (Curiously, the files are a fair deal bigger in size than the original 360 version's)

FoxyLand

Ghostory

High Hell

Panty party

Spelunker Party

Taima Miko Yuugi

PS1

Battle Athletess: Daiundoukai GTO

Crisis City

Extra Bright

Ling Rise

Mad Panic Coaster

Odo Odo Oddity (Technically, the only real music found in this set is from the movie audio. The brunt of this is pretty much just ambience... I still thought it would make for an interesting rip, though)

Option Tuning Car Battle

Option Tuning Car Battle 2

Option Tuning Car Battle Spec-R

Soukou Kihei Votoms: Lightning Slash

Soukou Kihei Votoms: Uoodo Kumen-hen (Oddly, this is more cutscene audio than actual music, despite the "BGM" file names...)

Same deal as with my previous PSFs apply this time, too (I'll improve at some point....). Otherwise, I might have a few more uploads soon, time will tell!

@marcuss: please reup MUSYNX (2015-07-07)(qiu chi zhang) iOS
by marcusss at 12:48 AM EDT on October 28, 2017
@Knurek: No probem I Am doing so now along with a few other iOS game rips

Asphalt 8 - Nice racing game.. Awesome music ! Noisy ;-) !
Stargate SG1 - Unleashed Ep 1
Pocket RPG
Lemegeton
Block Legend
Monster Dash
Alien Zone
Rayman Fiesta Run
Rayman Jungle Run

I noticed that games on iOS especially latest mobile games using Unity, are a lot easier to rip than Android. They don't ever split their assets for starters..

That's enough for now

Just FYI, both you and @ChillyBilly tend to forget I move 'The' and 'A' to end of archive - your set is already available in the archive, in the O folder.
by marcusss at 9:38 PM EDT on October 28, 2017
@ Knurek Yes I noticed sometimes we didn't notice that when uploading a set so we will have to try our best not to upload something already available. Cheers!
