Urgh.

The datacenter where the server is located has "major problems"

Their current preferred "fix" is to simply move me to their new data center on a better server, however, which will need all the data to be reuploaded

...which isn't my preference

:(

Update:

It seems that they may have access to the data so, I'm seeing if they can transfer all of the files to a new server at the new datacentre

Must be a sh!tload of data to move over I bet ;-)

Took me about 10 hours to rsync 200 GB worth of data when I was moving my own site to a different server the other day. Considering how much stuff was on Josh's server, we may have to be really patient.

@mogikihei: Sure, go ahead and update the VGM set (no need to ask me for permission). Thanks a lot by the way for all the VGM rips you have released.

I have a few more HES rips and an update of one I previously did:

http://www.mediafire.com/?cky36d5pd01y9w0

Contains:
Seiryuu Densetsu Monbit (updated with many more tracks)
Sotsugyou - Graduation
Sotsugyou 2 - Neo Generation
Sotsugyou Shashin - Miki

That's probably it for now as far as HES ripping goes unless there's a certain title that someone wants me to take a look at.

Actually, yes.

Hany on the Road HES rip is broken, it's missing PCM drums.

I've switched it with 2ch-H's VGM rip for now, but I'd really prefer emulated rips if possible.

On a similar note, Koei's games would be nice to have as well.

Aoki Ookami to Shiroki Mejika - Genchou Hishi (TCD)(1993-09-30)(Koei)
Nobunaga no Yabou - Bushou Fuuunroku (TCD)(1993-02-27)(Koei)
Nobunaga no Yabou - Zenkokuban (TCD)(1993-12-11)(Koei)
Sangokushi III (TCD)(1993-10-01)(Koei)(Naxat)(Koei)
Super Mahjong Taikai (TCD)(1992-12-28)(-)(Koei)

Also, if you ever get the bug to do more GBS/SGC ripping, I'll obviously welcome each and every rip with open arms (no need to time them, even, I can handle that). I'd really love to see Moldorian: Hikari to Yami no Shisutaa ripped, the game sounds really lovely based on OST recording

Well if emulated rips are preferable, I could try to do HES rips of PC Engine CD games with VGM sets. Ones that use the system card driver shouldn't be too bad to do at least. Although I feel that my time is better spent doing rips of games that don't have VGM logs. As far as listening goes, I personally don't prefer one format above the other.

Here's a SGC of Moldorian:

I had to teach myself Z80 again, but otherwise the rip didn't take very long to do. The game copies its sound driver to RAM and plays from there which was pretty weird.
