The 1.23 stuff was better, imo. Most of the music in ARR is kinda generic. Like much of the rest of the game, really.

Am I to assume that snsf9x_v0.1 is better than snsfv0.04 :P

EDIT: WTF? I just replaced 0.04 which I found, and this one, is 0.01? If 0.04 is fucking shit, then 0.01 is worse.

Every single SNSF file I played with 0.04 played nothing but static.

Apparently, the latest is version .04.

Dude! If you wanted to play SNSF's, why didn't you try CBX's build? >;)

Hm... is there a way to contribute to this collection? I could offer something like 250 GB of streamed rips.

Sure, just post links here or if you prefer, use the upload account:

sftp: vgm-ssh.joshw.info

login: vgmupload, password: vgmP@ssw0rd

There is a writable directory called uploads where files can be written to.
by Alpha23 at 2:11 AM EDT on September 11, 2013
Well, before I upload anything: I have the naming scheme
game ~ release year ~ platform ~ composer(s) ~ notes
Is that a problem?
Is there a possibility to get some kind of credit for the uploads (something like "by Alpha23")?
by Knurek at 2:15 AM EDT on September 11, 2013
I'm going to rename them to fit our standard either way, but the data you have there should be enough not to make my work hard. :)

As for credits, just include a readme.txt file with each archive, I'm not going to remove them. I don't think we have another way to store rip credits in place.

Oh, and please make sure the set you're uploading isn't already on the site - well save me some work comparing them and checking whether our rip was missing something.

Thanks.

I think it's even necessary to compare the rips! For example, I have always included all the movies that include music (properly demuxed of course), which, as far as I can see, isn't the case in your rips. And of course there may be cases where I may even have found more tracks for whatever reason.
So, how can I help with the process? Should I download each of your rips that is in my collection and compare?
BTW, is there any other place where you distribute this arcvhive to make it available to a broader community?
