Honestly, for the time being, I'd be happy to be able to rip sounds out of bc/fsars. I'd also like to be able to see track volume levels like with brsars, but if that's not possible then oh well. I mainly want that for MK8 mixing purposes.

Is there some reason that nobody will even touch the subject of Persona? Like, what's up? Every time I ask about Persona it gets completely ignored.

Fine fine I'll get back to it then. It uses both ADX and HCA. Now. That I have proper players, sorting will be easy.

Ah, so that's what it was. I don't mind waiting at all, but I could never get any word on if it was even planned for release.

I like how you added that so casually :)

is there a point of having this version vs. the original soundtrack of the original game?

This version is better in my opinion because in the original soundtrack from 2000, the songs sounded- off. If you compared Clock Town Day 1 from the soundtrack and from this one, you'll hear that they sound different. As if the reverbs from the original midi's were removed in the soundtrack release.

Club Nintendo's 2013 re-release do fix the problems the original soundtrack had, but my problem with Club Nintendo's re-release was that some songs fade out too early, which prevented me or anyone who tried to loop them from doing so. Final Hours and Termina Field are good examples. Hell, they even included fade outs in the Ocarina songs... Which I thought was pointless.

Also, I have a question for the program that creates WAVs of these. The "test.exe" For some reason, I'm unable to modify anything in that program. For example, for one song, I wanted to make the song loop 10 times, but no matter what I do, as soon as I click the app, it appears for a brief second before it disappears. It does convert the bcstms but only when I drag them onto the program, which then creates the dump file but only at the default 'two loops'. Can anyone help me out on this?

@LaniKai Inside the folder, Shift+Right-click->Open command window here. Then type "test" and hit enter for instructions.

Alright, I was able to get the instructions to appear. Once they're all displayed, it brings me down to a new line of commands. I'm pretty sure I'm not doing it right because I type in "text-l" for the loop count, it says: 'test-l' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

You need spaces between the commands.

test -l 10 -o "Termina Field.wav" 002NA_BGM_FIELD.dspadpcm.bcstm

will loop decode the field theme for 10 loops. By default, the songs will have 2 loops with a 10 second fade, and 0 second delayed fade. The -l, -f, -d switches can override the defaults.
