Nice find Mouser! Hopefully he will be able to get his website problems resolved so he can get back to finishing the GBS plugin. Thanks.

Once again you have failed to meet the guidelines for tagging.

Some things to remember:

- Renaming files isn't tagging.
- Tagging guidelines are at the bottom of the GSF Central page.

Midterms aho<s>y</s>i!

I'm going to be busy as hell over the next few weeks but I will still find the time to be a lazy ass. During this time, I will be taking requests for GBA games to rip over the spring break.

Also, since Josh has disappeared, I will do work on 1080 when I have the chance.
cs2 is at it again by unknownfile at 9:29 AM EDT on July 18, 2007
This hasn't been updated in ages, but our good friend Caitsith2 has made a very cool new PSF-based format.

This time he is targeting the Super Nintendo, which is very cool, considering that SPC has been in need of a replacement for quite some time.

The Lost Vikings 2 and a modded SNES9X

now off to work for today!

Wow! I guess a Wario's Woods rip is now a reality. I hope that CS2 rips it soon.
and another project for me by unknownfile at 5:15 PM EDT on July 18, 2007
Since 2sf has proven to be an annoyance I am instead trying a lower-end console called the Genesis. This is because it's been in need of a good format and everyone who makes up a format for the console ends up logging the writes to the sound chip.

My current target is Sonic the Hedgehog but only because the assembly code is on the internet. I'm aiming to compress the whole ROM so that only needed code is included.

There is a 1 second pause before the music starts so a silence suppression function in Winamp will be A+.

EDIT: Just got Gens compiling. Yay!

SNSF by Mouser X at 12:29 AM EDT on July 19, 2007
I wonder how long it will take, before someone hits Wikipedia with the new SNES format? Had I Wiki access (do I?), I'd consider doing it myself... Though, it'd be much better if someone who has had some wikipedia experience were to do such a thing.

And yes, I searched. As far as I could tell, it's not on Wikipedia yet. Though, the "Swiss National Science Foundation" is on there. I just thought I'd point that out. Mouser X over and out.

Charles MacDonald (http://cgfm2.emuviews.com/) has a semi working format and a few rips done, he's just waiting with the release till he'll fix some of bugs.
