God Eater Resurrection (PC) by ~C~ at 11:52 AM EDT on September 24, 2017
The audio files for this game are G.722.1 annex C encoded and have a BNSF header. When I try to decode the files with vgmstream, most of the files, while otherwise perfect, contain one or sometimes multiple "hissing" sounds, that are exclusively on either the left or right channel and are about 0.030 seconds long.
Does this issue exist with similar file types of other games, or this even a known issue? I hope somebody here knows something about this.

Try this: download this file, extract libg7221_decode.dll and overwrite vgmstream's current libg7221_decode.dll.
(for winamp should be in Winamp\Plugins, for foobar Users\(user)\AppData\Roaming\foobar2000\user-components\foo_input_vgmstream)
Should fix other G.722.1 games too.

Thank you!! I tested it on a few files, and all the hissing sounds are gone. The decoding process takes a bit longer, and the output files are a tad bit louder (not quite a decibel). Do you know why that is? Not that I mind, I'm just happy the disturbing hissing is gone :D

The DLL I posted is more accurate I believe but a lot slower. Fixing the original DLL is a daunting task but I hope to do it some day.
