ToWav Problem by jeangene91 at 6:27 PM EST on February 1, 2018
For some reason, Towav is not working for me. Dragging the files to convert onto the towav.exe only brings up the command prompt window for less than a second and no files are made. Even using the command prompt to run it does nothing. It just shows "Towav (c) Xplorer 2k6-2k9" without converting anything.

Jinx?

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jinx

“"Jinx" is also a term used when two people say the same thing at the same time and the person who says jinx first makes the other person not speak until somebody says his or her name. The only prevention for this state is to yell the word "buttercup" after the jinx. This can be countered by "Jinx no buttercups".”

Or you could give them a soda.

Anyway, I'm trying to convert this, but I have tried converting a regular .flac file and even an .mp3 file. Nothing seems to work.

Just keep in mind Towav is not a tool of ours. It came from a Russian website somewhere on the web. LWAV is a hack we implemented to force vgmstream to read smpl chunks from a typical wav file for loops if available. Eventually it was linked to Wwise RIFX until we found out the true extension was .wem. Towav’s format support is limited. We mostly used it for XMA conversions back before vgmstream supported It.

I understand. The reason I tried this was I was following a recommended process to convert .SNDS files. The .SNDS are made into .GENHs through VGMToolbox, then I add an Xbox header with QuickBMS, giving me the resulting .LWAV. The user Mygoshi recommended ToWav as part of the process. Somehow he got it to work.
