I won't have a chance to look at this until later but are they 2SF files? I already ripped the game to 2SF a few years ago and other than a few files not being able to play, it seems like everything works perfectly.
NCSF isn't same as 2SF, it's a different format that uses to replace 2SF, the NCSF rip of this game works properly for every songs, while the 2SF one has some songs unplayable.
RIght now, no on both counts, it only works for games that used Nintendo's Nitro Composer format (SDAT containing SSEQs) and only my tools can currently be used to create NCSFs. It would be nice to have them rippable in VGMToolbox too, but I haven't looked into getting something like that into it for snakemeat to merge in.
Superior how so? Does it eliminate that annoying "crackling" effect that plauges certain games and songs (Bowser's Inside Story Tea Break is the best example of this)?
I didn't realise this game's music had been ripped in either format so, thanks! Is there a tagged edition floating around? It's interesting that the DS game has new songs.
Most of them are crap (as well as pretty much the entire soundtrack) but there are a few good songs. It's the only thing I hate about David Wise; He has a tendency to destroy his soundtracks when doing remakes :(
