Why doesn't VGMTrans work with Jaleco games, specifically Rival Turf for the SNES? I recently came across and played this lovely gem this month and now I'm really interested in the soundtrack, possibly even remaking it! Anyone have some ideas for ripping the midi sequences and soundfonts from it? I tried using the spc rips from snesmusic.org but they didn't open in VGMTrans.
Well I never thought I'd ever have to use a tracker (I hate them with a passion!) but this is pretty helpful because I wasn't aware a program like this for spc files existed until now, thanks! Since I have to use OpenMPT though how do I go about extracting or converting the IT data into midis and soundfonts? I'm clueless on how it works.
For some reason OpenMPT only allows me to convert selected patterns of IT's to midi and the tempo they have are too high every time I'm exporting...like 1000+ high I mean, is there a way to fix this? Oddly enough doing the same thing in MadTracker is the complete opposite with it being able to export all patterns of IT files into a single midi but the tempo is slower and won't let me to change the BPM settings.
