Resurrecting a Virtual Boy

- I got the digital version of Megatainment a month or so ago, finally got the hard copy yesterday. This is the Mega Man 1 arrangement collaboration between The Megas and Entertainment System, both of whose work I've enjoyed.
Has 4 tracks, really only the first and last are enjoyable. The middle tracks (Bombman - Beneath the Steel and Fire & Ice - Hell has Frozen Over) are just confusing, though Fire & Ice has a cool sounding chorus. I may be misunderstanding, but it seems like Entertainment System recorded the instruments and The Megas worked on and recorded the lyrics completely separately, and on these tracks they just clash unpleasantly.
Track 1, Elecman - Evolution of Circuitry is the most musically consistent and enjoyable on the EP. Track 4, Dr. Wily - Look What You've Done, comes the closest to The Megas awesome lyrics on Get Equipped, but it has more of that loose coupling creeping in.
I feel hurt that there's no Cutman, oh well.
Gave it 3 stars on vgmdb, seemed fair as I enjoyed half the tracks.

- My Virtual Boy came back in like Factory seal working condition. I recommend getting yours fixed from him. He also fixes other systems. Go Virtual Boy! (Bacharu Boooy!).

- Well, here it is, the product I've been working on since starting at IBM last year: PowerHA pureScale. It's included in DB2 pureScale that's coming out in December or so.
