New computer project coming up, it'll be good to take a break from mangling notsofatso for a while.

I'm trying to read A Deepness in the Sky by Vernor Vinge (who's True Names I've read before, though I didn't realize it was the same author). Unfortunately unlike it's predecessor, A Fire Upon the Deep (which I read just last week), it doesn't start off with "UNSPEAKABLE ANCIENT HORROR UNLEASHED STAY TUNED FOR DETAILS" in the first ten pages. Seems to drag a bit, and the really interesting character isn't doing anything yet. It was Deepness that led me to look at both, but someone suggested that I read them in publication order. Hopefully things will pick up...

Just got my new computer working, it's running in 64-bit mode on Windows XP because Vista was being a pain in the arse.

I woke up this morning to an African scam email. As per usual, it says there are several million dollars that I am supposedly to inherit because someone died in a plane crash sometime in the year 2000.

I'm going to play along with this fucker for a while before I begin to send him links to shock sites and epithets.

wow a million dollars...

just last week i got one from bill gates testing a new email something he made.

He said that intel would track my email, as long as im running windows, and send the data back to microsoft where Bill himself would send me money for testing it.

Damn, i was running Linux.

I have seen both of those too. I find it sad that people stoop to making a living by scamming people like that. However, what I find even more saddening is the fact that there are people who are dumb enough to buy into those scams. What is the matter with people? Do they just not think?

once again I post a link for an assignment I need to do at school because I am too stupid to remember such things.

I'm looking at the iTunes top music downloaded list, this is what I see:

Kiss Kiss (feat. T-Pain) - Chris Brown
Apologize (feat. OneRepublic) - Timbaland
Bubbly - Colbie Caillat
Crank That (Soulja Boy) - Soulja Boy Tell 'Em
No One - Alicia Keys
How Far We've Come - Matchbox Twenty
Gimme More - Britney Spears
Cyclone (feat. T-Pain) - Baby Bash
Hate That I Love You - Rihanna
Stronger - Kanye West

May I ask, are people really that retarded?

Yes, they seem to be even more these days.
