Hello. I apologize if this isn't the place to ask this...
Anyway, I was wondering if I could request someone to make a single spc file from the two parts of The Hidden Truth from the Chrono Trigger Prerelease. I understand they can't be ripped into one file but I imagine it's possible to combine them, like how CaitSith2 combined parts 1-3 of Dancing Mad in the Final Fantasy VI rip on snesmusic. Or if someone could help explain to me in a very simple way how I might be able to do it myself but I really don't know very much about this stuff at all...
Any help would really be appreciated. I'm trying to put together a music rip from the Chrono Trigger Prerelease and I think that would be the only song that's giving me any issues...
Either an SFM or a SNSF would be required to combine them the way the game does. Or a hand crafted SPC that does all the timing and interaction internal to the SPC, all while still playing the music.
That's what I figured, you would need to hand craft a file yourself. Unfortunately, I don't know how I would do something like that... I usually convert the spcs to wav files then open them in an audio editor to amplify them and apply my own fade out. That's what I like to do with the music rips. Then I can listen to the edited tracks in wav format afterwards or convert them to flac.
If it's not too much work would someone be willing to combine these two parts into one spc file for me? If not that is okay. I don't mind recording this one song in an emulator if I have to but the quality would differ from the other tracks in the rip so an spc file would be preferred.
