Trying to make PSF2s by Enclave123 at 8:51 PM EDT on April 4, 2024

Greetings everyone, I am trying to work on a PSF2 file and how ever the PSF2 maker on VGMtoolbox is completely broken and will not make PSF2 in general.

Is there any alternatives? If I can't do this, I will share the raw files I am trying to work with.

Grab PSF2 Starter Kit and mkpsf2 from here.
Make sure to read docs.

There is a program called PSFlab that claimed to create PSF2. Is that recommended if I don't have any programming experience?

Nope, stick with PSF2 Starter Kit and mkpsf2.

I managed to get the PSF2 rip happening, but it's not playing interesting enough. I guess it needs a driver for it to be playable.

Funny part is, I am trying to do a PSF2 of a infamous game called The Sniper 2.

How ever I noticed there no PSF2 of it so far since it use MIDI for it music which is actually funny to me.

I have ripped PSFs in the past, at least they some of them use a generic driver for them to work.

I am trying to do blasto at the moment, but now I wanted to focus on a another game.

Here's all you need to make a PSF2 set for Sniper 2
Unpack the archive and execute 0-mkpsf2.bat file to build the files.
Reverb type/depth is guessed so you may want to adjust if you think it's incorrect.
Has the debugger been removed from latest PCSX2 builds btw ?
