I'm interested in lossless rips of the piano album and "doujin arrange(?)" as you said. Is that the official 8-bit arranged album? Was that even released at CD quality?

I'm very interested in getting a proper lossless rip of the Okami Original Soundtrack. I've written a tutorial not too long ago that can help you in configuring Exact Audio Copy to make "perfect" rips.

LOL. I've had trouble just finding some Mp3s from those albums, but I will keep an eye out for lossless versions of them, I'm always looking for lossless anyway.
I realize that the Okami Original Soundtrack is a pretty big upload, 5 CDs if I'm not mistaken, so I'm willing to upload something for you if you'd like, others here will be able to download it too. :)
I have an APE lossless rip, with log file and cue sheets, of the Super Mario Galaxy Original Soundtrack Platinum Edition (2-Disc) if you want that one
I also got my hands on another promo album that sounds really cool: the Granado Espada Original Soundtrack (4-Disc) in FLAC lossless (log and cue included) that I can share. If you've never heard it before, you can listen to the entire soundtrack here. There's a lot of awesome trance music in this album. The song, "Temptation", is one of my favorites.
I have tons of other stuff too in lossless format. :D

- As far as I know the chiptune arranges were only on the web site. The doujin is The Celestial Brush - shin-la-van-show Okami Arrange Album. I didn't like it very much.

- Just out of curiosity but, do you use Exact Audio Copy to rip your CDs? I may not be important to everyone but I just figure that if something is going to be ripped in lossless, why not a few more tweaks to make it identical to the original CD? XD

Oh and I almost forgot, THANKS! I'm going to see about SmartOne's Okami rip since he has the actual CDs, but I do appreciate you uploading it anyway, and also thank you very much for Smashing Live. :)
Edit: checked out the log file for Smashing Live. Do you currently use a MATSHITACD-ROM CR-585? If so, I believe the Offset Setting in EAC should be +103. :)

- I don't have that drive anymore, no. And the Myst OST I ripped with cdparanoia (as I have used to rip most of my CDs since '06), it's the closest thing to EAC on Linux.

Well, it's not at all difficult, there are just a few more configurations needed in EAC to make what's called "proper lossless" rips. For one, the Offset Correction should be added according to the CD/DVD-ROM drive that you use, you can check out accuraterip.com to find out what that offset is for your drive or just tell me the drive being used for the rip
Then there's the choice between an ISO Image (preferred) and ripping the tracks individually.
Then there's configuring the program (a check box) to tell it to create a log file for after the ripping process has completed. Log files are used mostly for others, and yourself, to check how the ripping process was done, whether the correct Offset setting was used, the track quality (as some might use defective or scratched CDs when ripping and EAC would show this).
Then there's the CUE sheet which is used to mathematically place all of the individual tracks in the correct, according to the original, positions.
And there's like a few other files that are useful. Md5 is a hash used to check for any crc errors in the audio files, useful for checking the integrity of the filse after a download.
Lastly there's the SFV (simple file verification) file which does just that, it verifies the files stored in a folder or archived in case of corruption. Here, Wiki explains it better: Wiki

OK, I'm not really familiar with that program but I hope it does work similarity to EAC.

- Thanks, CyberSpark. I'll take those things into account when I re-rip Okami (all the meta data got screwed up.) Is there an easy way to transfer the data from the online database directly to the FLAC encoding?
Manually adding tags to five CDs-worth of music is unenjoyable.

- Yeah I just rip lossless and who wants it can have it and take my word its fine otherwise can go elsewhere to get a rip :P:P But yeah it would be nice to do it the proper way sometime soon for all my lossless rips ;-) Can't be bothered re-ripping tho.. hehe
