This thread has kind of become CyberSpark's endless request thread :/
by hcs at 1:28 PM EST on February 25, 2009
CyberSpark:
fridgey posts his public key, you encrypt your email address with his public key and post it here, fridgey decrypts it with his private key (which only he has). The only point of trust here is that the messages that appear to come from you guys come from you, doesn't require a channel to be any more secure than that. (Typical implementations have a few additional layers such as encypting by the private key for validation purposes and a trusted middleman whose keys are already known to both parties who can provide the keys).

And it was a joke, it'd be total overkill.

LOL. It's no issue, sorry if I inadvertently turned it into one, I was just wondering what you meant. :-)

LOL. Well, hmm... I sure do have a lot of requests, why don't people request more though? :-| Well anyway, I'm finally sorting through my hard drives for all of my music, I found quite a few VGM soundtracks already. I will share some more very soon, in fact, if anyone's interested, I can upload Super Mario World [EAC] and Quest For Glory V: Dragon Fire ~ Original Music Soundtrack (W7032624) [EAC]. :-D

Ha ha! very funny. :-) So really it doesn't exist? LOL.

If I continue to be a 'nuisance', please tell me, but also, please request more, I might have some of the soundtracks that you guy and gals are looking for. ;-)

Does the Super Mario World recording actually sound better than the SPCs? CD sample rate, but was the source higher quality music (aside from the sample rate?)

I don't think they do. The soundtrack has better sound quality from what I can tell for all of the tracks featured on it, that includes the BGM and Sound effects. Also, this is a 2-Disc album. The first disc contains a complete Jazz arrange of music from Super Mario World, and Super Mario 1-3, that in itself is worth it. :-)

I'll try to up it today and you can tell me if it sounds any better then the recording.

ball the fuck up and post your email
it's not like your going to get hacked or anything
by Mouser X at 12:45 AM EST on February 26, 2009
I have UG and Demonoid invites (and others?). If you want one, I might be open to sharing. Feel free to email me at my yahoo account (username "mouser_x" thus "mouser_x@" and being yahoo... Guess?). Though, make sure the subject line is filled out, and if it looks/sounds like spam, I'll delete it without looking twice (don't sound like spam).

Also, I don't check my email often. Actually, you'd have a better chance of me seeing your request by getting on the #usf IRC channel and asking in there. Even if I'm not on, I still read the logs. Mouser X over and out.

Thanks anyway-FDM64- but I don't need to be spoken to that way.

Mouser X, I'll e-mail you tomorrow when I can get back on my computer.

I never really saw this addressed, so here's my rip of Okami, hopefully to CyberSpark's standards. Checksums match jelbo's, though not all tracks match AccurateRip. Files were renamed since the cue sheet.
And The Black Mages, which I got at the same time.

Thank very much hcs! Very nice. Um, there's just one tiny little thing that would really bring this all together: an MD5 file.

If you still have the original archive with all of the files from this rip, you can use the program called HkSFV. This will allow you to create and inspect an MD5 file which, when inspected, will reveal any errors that could have occurred during data transfer over the internet. This can be uploaded separately and will take only seconds for the whole procedure. You may do the same for The Black Mages if you'd like, which I'd also like to thank you for. :-)

I will inspect the log files some more tomorrow but I wouldn't worry about the track missing from the AccurateRip database, as long as AccurateRip didn't return an error.

Btw, I should have some or at least one of those Ragnarok soundtracks that you had requested from me uploaded sometime tomorrow, remind me (bump this thread) if I don't have it up by the end of the weekend.
