I am now back to NES music composing after discovering how MML works.

A simple C-major scale on the VRC7

And the older works if you missed 'em:

i saw mommy kissing santa claus
that tune from warioland which i call 'keep moving'
coming soon: mame with vgm logging by unknownfile at 6:03 PM EDT on May 2, 2007
Thanks to good ol' boredom, I will be trying to write a MAME logger in my spare time to log data from the YM2413, and later to convert it over to standard VGM. If I fail, well... no surprise there ;D

I have been meaning to ask, how is the MSF development going? Not much has been said about it lately. I would like to see it come to pass. It would probably end up being a total replacement for M1.
Coursework by PokeParadox at 8:49 PM EDT on May 2, 2007
I have AI coursework due tomorrow... and it's already alost 2AM in the morning and it's not looking likely this is going to be finished on time >_>

MSF? ask josh

Also, going through the YM2413 (OPLL) and YM2151 cores, there's a CYM logger implemented in there that is pretty buggy and doesn't work with the OPLL chip. It is ifdef'd out by default, so adding the definition will spit out a CYM each time a YM2413/YM2151 file is logged.

test? test!
introducing HIVE by unknownfile at 2:41 PM EDT on May 3, 2007
HIVE is a little chat protocol that I have been working on in my computer class. As it stands it is somewhat between email and IRC. Due to its nature, it only connects to the server when it needs to do something (which theoretically saves resources).

The HIVE server itself is called beeswax, and has been under development for some time now. Today, I managed to get it to deliver its first message.

Without further ado, I proudly present:

Beeswax build 214

Hopefully someone finds a use for this rubbish. It's pretty incomplete as it stands, but it'll be expanded in the future.

This is my second network project so far. Yippeee!

Had to pack stuff up to move home today. Laid out all the computers I had with me before boxing them up.

Time to count the crap....

-GBA SP (with FlashAdvance)
-Gamecube
-PSOne (with screen, probably unmodded)
-SNES (with copier)
-iPod
-Gigabeat
-Generic Laptop o' Doom
-Generic Desktop o' Doom
-Random calculator
-N64 (with gameshark and Doctor V64 Jr

Yeesh. Too much stuff.

Also, I am going to get back into Famicom collecting. I hope to get some crap by the end of the summer with the allowance and rubbish I get.

Stuff I'm looking for:

- Disk System (I've been wanting to play my FDS Zelda)
- The VRC6 suite (Akumajou Densetsu, Madara, Esper Dream II)
- Lagrange Point (VRC7)
- Gimmick! (FME-7)
- Mother (aka Earthbound Zero)

And this time around I am not planning on smashing the chips apart for their components, otherwise my VRC6 would still be inside of the Akumajou Densetsu cart (now destroyed).

Now excuse me, I need to be going home (I typed this at school).

Da specs, in all their glory.

Woupii, largest thread here.

ALSO: Lagrange Point has been ordered, I just need to pay for it and it'll be on its way.

ALSO ALSO: Speaking of LP, I'm doing a TAS of it. Rerecord as of now stands at around 600 (it's damn annoying to manipulate the battle generator).

ALSO ALSO ALSO: The AeonGenesis LP translation has made some progress. Here's the complete opening text (with additions by me in bold):

"In the 22nd century, mankind has begun to emigrate into space. Constructed at a lagrange point were three huge colonies: Land 1, Land 2 and a Sattelite Base - the Isis cluster. In the year Isis 0024, however, a biohazard outbreak occured on Land 2. All attempts at contact were met with naught but static. Now a research team lead by Jean/Jin approaches Land 1."

... and it's now paid for
